Participation and Liability Disclaimer

 


By booking the Sketchhouse Retreat, participants acknowledge and accept the following terms:

 

  1. Independent Participation

    Participation in all retreat activities is voluntary and at the participant’s own risk. The organiser assumes no liability for injury, illness, accident, loss, or damage during the retreat or while travelling to and from the venue.

  2. Insurance Requirement

    Participants are required to hold valid health, travel, and cancellation insurance that covers possible medical costs, accidents, cancellations, or loss of property. Proof of insurance may be requested prior to the retreat.

  3. Physical and Mental Condition

    By registering, participants confirm that they are physically and mentally able to participate in the planned activities, including outdoor sketching, light walking, and excursions.

  4. Personal Property

    The organiser cannot be held responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal items, including art supplies, luggage, or equipment.

  5. Force Majeure

    In the event of circumstances beyond the organiser’s control (such as natural disasters, illness, or official restrictions), the organiser reserves the right to modify or cancel the retreat. In such a case, retreat fees will be refunded in full. The organiser is not responsible for any additional costs, such as travel, visas, or insurance.

  6. Photographs and Creative Work

    Photos and video footage may be taken during the retreat for documentation and promotional purposes. By participating, guests grant the organiser non-exclusive permission to use such images unless they explicitly object in writing before the start of the retreat.

  7. Jurisdiction and Applicable Law

    This agreement is governed by Swiss law. The exclusive place of jurisdiction is Zug, Switzerland.
